US-based independent agency Hyland Block & Hyland Insurance has purchased Haskins-Schmidt Insurance agency, to further reinforce its presence in the Louisville region.
Founded in 1999 by Robin Schmidt, the acquired entity operates as a full line independent insurance and financial services agency.
Under the terms of the agreement, Robin Schmidt, Paul Schmidt and Amy Sullivan along with their clients will join the Hyland Block & Hyland family.
In order to ensure uninterrupted service offering, they will work with the existing Haskins-Schmidt clients.
Commenting on the deal, Paul Schmidt said the acquisition is a client-centric perfect alliance, and the combined resources will enable to offer more product choices to the Haskins-Schmidt clients.
Hyland, Block & Hyland is Louisville, Kentucky's independent insurance agency and offers an array of home, auto, business, life and health insurance.
At present, the company serves more than 6,000 individuals and families, and over 1,000 business concerns in the Louisville Metro Area.
