Agua Enerviva has launched its naturally-energising beverages in lightweight, hot fill containers that have been designed by ScorCreative at Amcor.

Amcor Designs New Bottles for Agua Enerviva Naturally-Energising Beverages

Containing only 10 calories and 3 grams of sugar per 8oz serving, Agua Enerviva claims to combine the best features of sports drinks, enhanced waters and energy drinks, with the flavour and vibrancy of traditional aguas frescas.

Amcor's ScorCreative design team worked with the company to deliver a sleek bottle featuring horizontal ribs with an attractive shrink label.

According to ScorCreative principal engineer Michael Lane, the company provided several designs before reaching on the final design and supplied close to 10,000 containers for focus group and test marketing studies prior to production tooling.

With the use of its PowerFlex vacuum absorbing base (VAB) technology that eliminates panels in the design, Agua Enerviva features various designs along the walls.

Amcor has used design and manufacturing techniques that have enabled creation of a patented bottle that absorbs vacuum through a specially designed base. The bottle also comes with a unique diaphragm within the base that draws upward as the liquid cools.

The bottle's geometric characteristics enable the inverted cone-shaped diaphragm to deflect upward as the vacuum is created.

Available in kiwi strawberry, tea and lemonade, pomegranate acai, orange passion and fruit punch flavors, the new product will currently be sold at 920 Target stores throughout the Northeast and mid-Atlantic.
